Popped down to Saltdean just outside of Brighton on New Years Eve and tuned into Codesouth.

Only caught codesouth as had playback in the preset in car and while I was up high ground thought I would see if I could hear playback and RDS popped up with "Codesth" always thought they were lower down in frez "97mhz ish"

On the way back home caught Wisepranker starting his show about 1430hrs lost signal at Pease Pottage and after I passed the Gawick turn off started to get Playback. Very very briefly caught Codesth again on the M23/M25 turn off.

Definitely getting out well!

They've had a number of frequencies over the years. Wasn't it 88FM at one point also?

Think they are actually a legal station these days, they still bang out good though esp heard them when I visit Brighton they seem to get out pretty decent.

Never heard they got a licence myself, though I could be wrong.

Guess they will have to change frequency from 1st of October, when Brighton’s new community station Platform B launches on 105.5fm

For the past week there was a recorded message over the top of some music going round on loop saying they are moving frequencies to 88.2FM, was still on earlier about midday but it's gone off now. ....No sign of it on new freq yet.

They have cut it pretty fine as they launch only this Monday 1st October, makes me wonder if they were waiting for Codesouth to go off first before they were allowed to switch theirs on...?

Looks like they are pulling in the old Codesouth listeners as we speak with a House mix playing but was playing some very strange moody music yesterday.
