Seems to have been fairly constant for the last week.

Good output/coverage, but nothing there - anyone know anything about it?

Intriguing.. I'd love to know even though i can't get it, radio one on 97.9 is too strong.. Maybe it's radio club Asia, they've left it on for a while without mod before, but they moved down from 97.8 to get out better iirc.. Maybe f_______y.. Daren't mention the name lol..edit coz no e before the y..

Don't think would have been clubasia - they were on another freq (I forget which now!) with no RDS.
RF did mention studio refit and back for the new year, got the impression they were only interested in online stuff now?
Where abouts are you roughly?

I'm at Norfolk Park in Sheffield.. It's pretty high ground but not the biggest hill in Sheffield. All the pirates used to tx from here..club Asia was on 88.2 which i could pick up most of the time.

pretty sure theres a radio 1 transmitter on 98.1 in bradford, 98 might be a bad choice of frequency anyway signal will only get out locally, theres all kinds of radio 1 transmitters as such even if seems clear you'll move to another area and pick another one up.

I thought that too,it's from idle innit! Not sure but think it's only bout 40 watts or so..As if we need radio one in every nook and cranny...I fell out with radio one when the pirates established themselves as there was most genres available on the pirates plus radio one didn't play hardcore techno which was the rhythm of 1990...

problaly will be the first to get pulled off fm, target audience 15-29 years old https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBC_Radio_1 imagine would be hard to get younger audience to listen to the fm output must know all people do now is watch youtube play about on social media, read Online visualisation and social media.

i’ve never listened to it, way to trendy & cool I don’t feel its meant for me, the amusing thing is many of the trendy hipster djs are over 30, can’t imagine they’ll have much of life span left i mean career, problaly get replaced often!
