These guys are back on near me, not entirely sure where from as yet. Any sign of it elsewhere?

BTW, let's try and keep this to one thread this time.

It was 105, but they had audio problems and went off again early afternoon. The audio kept dropping out but it wasn't the stream disconnecting, it was as if a lead was only partially connected as you could still hear it very low along with the hiss on the carrier.

Ok cool, will try for it in the morning as will be on some high ground.

The Cardiff tx was doing well all the way down the Somerset Coast in the car - last time was on.

Wonder if they are back on in Cardiff or maybe setting up somewhere else.

Well, it's still off at the moment, might return tomorrow or in the next few days or weeks. At least we know they haven't given up yet!

It was the same RDS as Cardiff, but the signal was stronger than when I was getting the Cardiff rig a few months back, so they could have upped the power, or could've moved the rig more my way.

I would've gone for a look around, but I've had to stay in all day.

I've been keeping a close eye out and nothing doing up here on any clear-ish frequencies, although 101.4 is most likely in Manchester. The guy running it clearly has plenty of dosh so I expect something will happen. They'll probably be looking for new sites though as I believe their northern rigs were taken by thieves and certainly their Manchester site was well known and easily accessible.

Still an aerial left up in Leeds with a cut cable blowing in the wind, but no sign of it on today. :tup

Identical situation in Manc including the piece of coax cut off halfway down the pole!

I'm not sure why Innov8 bother, as when they were last on in Manchester a few months ago 90% of the time it was just a dead carrier.

I've no idea where the Transmitter was sited around here, but the signal boomed out.

I guess that's what happens when you've no-one locally to maintain or look after the rig, or the internet connection. It's not easy putting a station on, and this guy was trying to do it in 5 cities nationally!

True enough..

As said, he must have some serious dough to be doing it at this level!

Nowt in Yorkshire yet! So was innov8 coming from Leeds last time then? I thought it was int hills somewhere very high up.. When tx's are on a certain estate in East Leeds I usually have no problem picking it up, it's when they're further north I have a bit of trouble..
