recommend me a decent pocket fm radio?

Post by frankie » Thu Apr 30, 2015 10:56 am

Hi all,

i'm in need a decent pocket fm radio for my bus commute - ideally something which is good at picking up signals but compact in size (don't want a massive silver aerial sticking out of my pocket  ). getting a bit bored of the music selection on my iphone and fancy listening to some pirates instead (before anyone jumps in with tunein, it eventually won't be an option as i'm downgrading my phone plan to limited data to save money)

sorta narrowed it down to one of these:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/home-theatre/dp ... t+fm+radio

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-SRF-59-Ana ... t+fm+radio

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TECSUN-PL100- ... 19e0c2c7a2

let me know, yeah? thanks! :tup

Would the Yourmuze app not be a viable option with it's low stream bitrates (which can be altered for your convenience) & your incoming limited data plan?? Seems to have most of the stations (re: the London/UK pirates) that are on TuneIn and if they're not on there you can put them on there yourself via their website.
