I read that on the BBC news site this morning. I wonder if it was the guy who was looking for GERDA keys in the Buy & Sell?

Hehe, I met that guy who asked for the Gerda keys, it isn't him. I was looking for a name in the article but me and him talked for ages, I'm very certain it isn't him.

That's Garda :P Irish for guardians (police). Gerda is German, but has the same meaning in other places (like Poland, the country of the lock/key company). It's usually a female's name in those countries. It means protection or protected. That was all Google, haha.

Funnily enough though, thanks to Gerda's backward thinking as a lock manufacturer, the Gerda keys we all know and love are very simple and not so secure at all despite the fact they're used on almost every other high rise in and around London city.
