careful using 330mhz due to the Military airband

if you're not in or Near the UK or a NATO Country then obviously ignore this
TBH even in somewhere like Dublin i'd be worried . when the planes are at exercise height over somewhere like RAF Valley anything in Dublin will come in strongly

Oh thats cool then
230 - 400mhz is the military airband range

205.3 sounds like a good choice

Good luck with it

205MHz here is right in the middle of the DAB band. It is possible (and quite easy) to hide a link between DAB "bouquets", but you'll need a better receiver than the London muppets can build you to recover the signal!

In the UK, free-radiating TV is only from 490 - 670 MHz these days. The Japanese VHF broadcast band is 76 - 95 MHz, in Europe it's (mostly) 87.6 - 107.9 MHz. The aircraft band is 118 - 137 MHz throughout the world, 150 - 225 MHz is used in some parts of the world for TV broadcasting, in Europe it's (mostly) used for DAB broadcasting. 225 - 390 is used for the military, 400 - 470 is used for short range communications (apart from the 440 - 450MHz amateur band), 470 - 582MHz is Band IV TV (my favourite place to link - in between the TV channels, using TV aerials), 582 - 862MHz is Band V TV......

These allocations do vary from country to country, but you should find that they're largely correct.

I always liked to link in Band IV. The gear's not difficult to build, and there are cheap TV receiver "front-ends" that you can easily use for the receiver. The aerials are cheap and high gain without being too big, and nobody notices a TV aerial on a rooftop! Make your Link Transmitter and Link Receiver use 75Ω aerial connections, and you can use TV coax and aerials!
