Tugicom Tx190 exciter

Howdy all, I've a Tx190 board here and one of the surface mount capacitors just came off due to shitty storage.

The cap is a K3 220v UD

Soldering surface mount isn't a speciality of mine.. Can anyone recommend a cap that's OK to replace it with? Image

It's 22uF 35V eletrolytic, I hope you have a nice picture of the board for the polarity! Soldering them back on is doable, I have done them on graphics cards and motherboards. I use a 1mm solder bit, very lightly tin the board islands as soon as I can get solder to melt, then place the part and heat up the lugs. It'd probably be as fiddly replacing it with a leaded component, the proverbial rock and a hard place. Here is a link if the capacitor is damaged:

Code: Select all

:tup Have fun now!
