What frequency range do London pirates use for band 1 ?

They stay clear of the 50MHz and 70 MHz amateur bands. Most of the rest is fair game. Avoid anything with a second harmonic that's going to potentially be an issue: 60.75 MHz has a second harmonic on the international air distress frequency! I used to use anything that had an easy-to-get receive crystal!
